These links are intended to inform GWA supporters on the work being carried out on a global basis to monitor and counter climate change. The Laboratory for Climate Studies
Founded in 1994, The Laboratory for Climate Studies (LCS) has been recognized as one of the most influential academic centres providing support to the modernization of meteorological services and the development of national social-economy and global climate change and environmental issues in China

 

Japan
Tokyo Climate Center
JMA carries out experiments in conjunction with the Meteorological Research Institute and monitors the long-term change of the global average surface temperature anomalies in Japan in order to assess the effect of global warming

 

United States
US Environmental Protection Agency
The US Environmental Protection Agency offers a comprehensive information on the issue of climate hange by way of their Climate Change Site. Previously known as the EPA’s Global Warming Site, the names was change to help convey that there are changes in addition to rising temperatures

The Seychelles Centre for Marine Research and Technology
Marine Parks Authority (SCMRT-MPA) is a scientific and conservation organisation based in the Seychelles

 

New Zealand
National Centre for Climate-Energy Solutions

The NCCES has been established to facilitate public access to NIWA’s expertise. The Centre covers all aspects of NIWA’s research that can help New Zealand on issues such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, greenhouse gas reductions, reducing the environmental impacts of energy use, and new business opportunities related to these areas.
