Hot Women Campaign is about empowering women
to play an active part in the global warming crisis. We believe
that if people are encouraged to reduce their CO2 output by a
moderate amount and in a voluntary manner they will be more willing
to do so. Collectively even a small percentage reduction could
amount exponentially to a significant decrease in the total CO2
output which is causing rapid climate change.

How To Help the Campaign
There are many ways
to help this campaign. You’ve taken the first step by logging
on and reading so far. By committing to reduce your CO2 output
by 5% (or indeed just continuing with the CO2 reductions you were
making before joining this campaign) you are already a participant.
But you can help the Hot Women Campaign in more ways than that.
Spread the Word
By getting friends and family to log on to the Hot Women campaign
and pledge to reduce their CO2 by at least 5% you have made an
even bigger contribution. This will directly buy more time for
the planet to heal or for effective technological solutions to
be developed to combat climate change caused by human activity.
Donate
Making a donation is not only helping to support the GWA which funds
the Hot Women Campaign but it is also a further commitment to reversing
climate change. By making the reductions required for the pledge
will result in a financial saving to yourself and possibly a development
in a sense of wellbeing. If you donate a proportion of these savings
to the GWA your money will go directly to an organisation researching
the very solutions you are seeking.
Fundraising
You could organise a simple fundraising event on behalf of the
Hot Women Campaign. Not only would this raise vital funds for
the expansion of our initiative it would also be the ideal opportunity
to engage other women in discussing the difficulties of a modern-age
carbon economy drive. There are scores of ideas on the internet
to stimulate you or you can email us for support. You might well
want to turn pro and give a speech at your event which
will make you a Hot Women Campaigner.
Shopping
Our
Hot Women Campaign tote bags are perfect for shopping and they
tend to raise a smile. Buy a Hot Women Campaign tee-shirt or give
one as a present. Whenever you buy merchandise from the GWA
shop you are contributing to the Global Warming Alliance’s
quest to find the solutions to climate change.
Become
better informed
Clue up on the real global warming issues by following the latest
news and comments from the Global Warming Alliance. Develop your
own opinions by studying the evidence as it presents itself. Your
personal view and input are as valuable as anyone else’s
in this crucial campaign to combat climate change. Scientists,
corporations and governments are reacting to the needs and tastes
of the individual. A positive drive is essential to making your
voice heard.
At
home
You can help the Hot Women Campaign at home by your sustained
commitment to reduce your energy usage at home and encourage your
chidren to do the same. We are always interested in hearing innovative
ways of ‘decrease to increase’ i.e. decreasing your
CO2 output to increase the quality of your life. Sometimes smaller
is sweeter, rather than bigger is better.
At
work
Your own company could work in partnership with Hot Women Campaign
and the GWA. Corporates are now finding that sensible environmental
drives can actually be better for the bottom line.
Start
a Hot Women club
If you want to meet other women who are also concerned about climate
change—or even if you're just looking to make some
new friends—maybe starting a small club is the answer. You
could even recruit new members on MySpace or Facebook. The social
tone of the club should depend on your overall goals but ultimately
women like to get together to have a good time even if the common
ground is the sticky subject of climate change.
Tell
us your story
Climate change is already affecting the lives of millions of women
across the world. What’s changed about your life? Are you
able to contribute your story in writing, audio, video or photos
to help us to document and publicise the Hot Women Campaign. If
so, please get in touch.
